Latest Samsung Jack
Samsung does make pretty good cell phones, and they have managed to introduce the super slim culture quite a few years back with the Ultra series. Their efforts on the smartphone front ain’t too shabby either with the BlackJack and BlackJack II offering a decent Windows Mobile experience wherever you are, but they do pale in comparison (along with a majority of other handsets, I might add) with the mighty iPhone when it comes to usability and ease-of-use. Well, Samsung ain’t about to throw in the towel just yet by getting ready to release the new Jack which will be available from AT&T this May 19th.
Hopefully the Samsung Jack will be able to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors, and it does help that the device looks pretty sleek and serious for the business person. Definitely not a phone you would want to pull out and flash for some fashion points, as the main focus is keeping you connected at all times no matter where you are over the nation’s fastest 3G network. In order to compose your emails and text messages in double quick time, Samsung has thrown in an optimized keyboard for accurate typing alongside a bevy of communications options including SMS, instant messaging as well as access to multiple e-mail accounts.
The inclusion of Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile on the Jack allows both enterprise and small business customers to stay connected with synchronization of schedules and contacts, while Internet Explorer Mobile makes Web browsing painless. As for Office Mobile, productivity is enhanced on-the-go thanks to its ability to handle Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. It might run on Windows Mobile 6.1 at this moment, but it can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5 when that becomes available. Other hardware specifications include 256MB RAM, a 3.2-megapixel camera with video-capture capabilities, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity and integrated aGPS support.

Next-Generation iPhone Will Likely Feature Video Recording and Editing
There's nothing special about a phone that can record video, but the new iPhone expected to launch next month will reportedly take this to the next level and allow users to edit their videos.
Not surprisingly, the mobile version of iMovie will be much simpler than the desktop one, but it will supposedly allow users to clip out sections of the video they have recorded with the iPhone's camera and then share it with their friends.
Apple hasn't confirmed this, but inside sources are talking about it, and developers have seen some evidence of it while going through the early versions of the iPhone 3.0 system software that will be released this summer.
Video Recording, At LastAlthough all the iPhone models released so far have built-in cameras, these have not allowed users to record video. However, people who "jail-break" their device can install video-recording software not authorized by Apple.
This is clearly about to change, because buried in the iPhone 3.0 system software is an app to record video. However, it appears that this will only appear on the next-generation iPhone, not the current ones.

Ligers
The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion (Panthera leo) and a tigress (Panthera tigris), hence has parents with the same genus but of different species. It is distinct from the similar hybrid tiglon. It is the largest of all cats and extant felines.
Ligers inherit characteristics from both species. Ligers enjoy swimming which is a characteristic of tigers and are very sociable like lions. However ligers may inherit health issues or behavioural issues due to conflicting inherited traits, but this depends on the mix of genes inherited. Ligers exist only in captivity because the parental species do not normally meet. None have been confirmed in the one region where both cats coexist (Gir Forest region, India). Ligers may grow to, or exceed, the size of the larger parent.
The history of ligers dates to at least the early 19th century in, India Asia. In 1799, Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (1772–1844) made a colour plate of the offspring of a lion and a tiger.

The history of ligers dates to at least the early 19th century in, India Asia. In 1799, Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (1772–1844) made a colour plate of the offspring of a lion and a tiger.
In Animal Life and the World of Nature (1902–1903), A.H. Bryden described Hagenbeck's "lion-tiger" hybrids:
It has remained for one of the most enterprising collectors and naturalists of our time, Mr Carl Hagenbeck, not only to breed, but to bring successfully to a healthy maturity, specimens of this rare alliance between those two great and formidable felidae, the lion and tiger. The illustrations will indicate sufficiently how fortunate Mr Hagenbeck has been in his efforts to produce these hybrids. The oldest and biggest of the animals shown is a hybrid born on the 11th May, 1897. This fine beast, now more than five years old, equals and even excels in his proportions a well-grown lion, measuring as he does from nose tip to tail 10 ft 2 inches in length, and standing only three inches less than 4 ft at the shoulder. A good big lion will weigh about 400 lb [...] the hybrid in question, weighing as it does no less than 467 lb, is certainly the superior of the most well-grown lions, whether wild-bred or born in a menagerie. This animal shows faint striping and mottling, and, in its characteristics, exhibits strong traces of both its parents. It has a somewhat lion-like head, and the tail is more like that of a lion than of a tiger. On the other hand, it has no trace of mane. It is a huge and very powerful beast.More details>> Click here.
